Spencer Carlson is a North Texas real estate professional, entrepreneur, military veteran, former police officer, husband, and content creator who has built his career around service, relationships, and helping people make confident decisions.
After serving in the military and spending seven years in law enforcement, Spencer transitioned into real estate in 2022. Since then, he has built a successful business serving buyers, sellers, investors, landlords, and families throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With more than 100 homes sold and over $37 million in career sales volume, Spencer has developed a reputation for combining strong market knowledge with a straightforward, personal approach.
For Spencer, real estate isn't just about putting a sign in a yard or opening doors. He believes who you work with matters. Whether he's helping a first-time buyer navigate their first purchase, marketing a unique property, negotiating for a seller, or helping an investor evaluate an opportunity, his goal is to make sure his clients understand their options and feel confident about their next move.
Outside of traditional real estate, Spencer is constantly looking for ways to grow, create, and build. He operates his own real estate business, has a strong interest in marketing and social media, and is working toward building a business that can eventually grow into a successful real estate team while maintaining the personal service his clients value.
Spencer is also the creator and host of Friends Without Benefits, a podcast built around real conversations, stories, humor, advice, and the kind of discussions friends have when nobody is trying to sound overly polished. The podcast reflects a lot of his personality: conversational, curious, occasionally sarcastic, and willing to talk about just about anything.
At the center of everything Spencer does is a desire to build a life that balances ambition with freedom—growing successful businesses, creating meaningful relationships, spending more time with family and friends, and enjoying life along the way.
Whether he's negotiating a real estate deal, creating content, recording a podcast, or working on the next business idea, Spencer's approach is pretty simple: work hard, treat people right, keep learning, and don't take yourself too seriously.
